Tours around Shanghai

She Shan and the Canal .1 Day .About 120 km total.

This is an Ideal Trip for beginners, to discover the Environment on three Wheels.

We leave Shanghai in the early Morning to She Shan, drive up to the old Monestary on the Hilltop of She Shan and enjoy the great View from there. Tee Plantings can be seen on the way.Giving ourself some Roadexperiance on the 318 Highway, which is the longest Highway in China, we can speed up our Chang Jiangs on well prepared Tarmac without much Stop and Go. The 318 Highway starts in Shanghai and ends in Lhasa.

We leave Chinas longest Highway to drive along the scenic Waterchanels, giving you Opportunity for great Photoshootings from the huge Network of Waterstreets surrounding Shanghai and connect it with Suzhou and many other Cities. We can have Picnic or BBQ there, or spend our time in some nice Restaurants around.

In the Afternoon, the Grand View Garden, Temples and Stopovers near Lakes waiting for us before heading back to Shanghai.A Day on three Wheels come to an End with a lot of Impressions from the Tour, in our Shop at Hami Road with a Cup of Coffee and time to exchange with other Riders.

Tong Li Watertown .1 Day. About 180 km total.

Another well-received one-Day Trip Destination is Tong Li, the ancient Watertown, where Tom Cruise jumped from Roof to Roof in “Mission Impossible.

We leave Shanghai in the early Morning, to avoid the Traffic. Chinas longest Higway the 318 lead us West. We make a Leap to the North crossing Fields and see the Farmers working there.More and more smaller Lakes can be seen and the Area is wide enough to drive straight and fast with the Motorbikes. Arriving Tong Li you can enjoy the Greetings from the friendly People there, who wants to see who is coming on this great Machines.

Strolling around in the small Alleys and enjoying this World Heritage, let you chill and your Bones relax for some hours, before going East direction Shanghai.On the way back, we stop over several Points of Interest, as Temples and Grand View Garden.

Suzhou 1 Day About 200 km total

One of the Highlights on the Map of each Traveller in China. Suzhou "The Venice of Asia".As our Guides figured out a suitable Way for you and the Bikes with less Traffic on Sideroads from Shanghai to Suzhou, you will arrive there around noontime.We have our lunch in an old Teahouse and soak up the atmosphere there from old China.In the Afternoon we continue our Tour on our classic Bikes and stop over at Lakes and Temples or a beautiful Spot in the Nature.

Tank Testing Ground 1 Day Off Road

This Tour is possible for People which do not have a Chinese driving License, since is organised on non public Roads.We drive by Car to the Tank Test Ground, a Military Facility open for Off Road.The Bikes are provided by China Sidecar Tours. You get a briefing on our Army Bikes, with Off Road Tires and then ride on the Dirt Track.It is a drive of “endurance” and “getting trough” not Moto Cross.For Chang Owners is the ultimative experience to see what this bikes can do else.The Freshmans might be buried in the Mud.Great Fun guaranteed. Can be organised as Company Event.

Chongming Island 1 or 2 Days about 200 km

A beautiful Island near Shanghai with less Traffic, shows you the Agricultural Site of China, so close to the Urban Jungle of Shanghai.We take the Ferry to reach the Island, drive along the Coastline to see Shipyards and small Harbours.The Bird breading Area on the Eastern End, allows you a magnificent Impression about Nature and Wildlife.Field and Forest combined with the System of the Working Units get you into the “Time Warp” of Chongming Island.Overnight Stay in rustic atmosphere with Bonfire and BBQ, makes this Tour a perfect Weekend Getaway.Family Members can join in Cars to provide Fun for the whole Family.

Tai Hu Lake Island 2 Days about 300 km

This Tour get you to one of the biggest Lakes in China, definitely the biggest Lake near Shanghai.Leaving Shanghai on Chinas longest Highway, taking the non traffic Canal Road, passing Tong Li Watertown, we will arrive in the afternoon the magnificent Shoreline of Tai Hu Lake.Bridges built in a traditional Chinese style will bring us to West Mountain Island and just a view meters from the light blue water you enjoy a perfect Scenery.Staying overnight in a small Guesthouse directly on the Lake makes this a perfect day.Next Day we surround the Island and pay a visit to a Marina on Taihu Lake. In the afternoon we drive back to Shanghai with Fun on tree Wheels.

Hangzhou 2 or 3 Days about 500 km

From Shanghai we pass small Villages and Roads, directly into the Heart of Hangzhou.Hangzhou with the magnificant West Lake is waiting for you after a day on the Road.We stay in a Hostel directly on the West Lake and soak up the spirit of this Top Tourist destination.Next morning we are heading more west, directly into the Mountains of Zhejiang and enjoy Bambooforests and breathtaking Roads, perfect for the Chang jiangs.Hitting the Trottle hard we make it back to Shanghai (only experienced drivers), or stay one more day in the Mountains and visit Moganshan as well. Moganshan 3 Days about 600 km

About 500 km Starting from our Shop in Hami Road, our Guides lead you out of Shanghai, so the Bikes quickly can get on a straight Road leading West which allows you to test the Engines without much Traffic. The Road follows the Canals and Waterways which Zhejiang Province is famous for.In the Afternoon the challenge of conquering Mogan Shan is waiting for you and the machines. 719 mtr. Needs to be climbed in a few kms, during a breathtaking uphill ride. Better keep an eye on the road you will have still time enough to enjoy stunning views at Moganshan.

Moganshan developed during the colonial era, with the old Villas of the Leaders, oblige that you enjoy the evening sitting in your club chair in front of the fireplace, while the Bikes wait for tomorrow’s adventure.English Breakfast ensure you are ready to fest on down and uphill rides again, passing dense Bamboo and Pine Forests. Rides trough really small villages and tiny roads gives you the perfect vintage feeling on our classical Sidecar Motorcycles. Anji which is well known for its Dragon Waterfalls allows us to show you the real beauty of the surrounding Mountains.The Trip can be combined with the famous Hangzhou and West Lake Scenery.

Yellow Mountain 5 Days about 800 km

During the Yellow Mountain Tour you can see it all, Moganshan, Thousand Island Lake, Yellow Mountain and Hangzhou.You can enjoy some of Chinas best Spots and combine it with driving on Mountain and Forests Roads which you never expected in China.The time on the road allows us to really get the spirit, driving a Chang Jiang.This Tour is a must see during your China Stay.
